CP&S charter

Our open and friendly service will take the drama out of any Legal crisis by identifying the problem, determining your objectives and explaining the law in clear and simple terms avoiding jargon. We will discuss the various stages with you at the start of the transaction, the steps to be taken, the probable costs and timescale. Within our firm we have the expertise to answer most of your queries and if not, have contacts to make referrals.

At the outset, you will be given the name of the person dealing with your work and their Assistants, our terms of business and the procedures for dealing with any complaint.

As we do not have a large City Offices, we believe that our charges are lower than many firms, our service more personal and our style more approachable. We hope you will agree!

The majority of our new clients come to us by recommendation. We pride ourselves on our good communications and approachability; the standard of service we have always set ourselves is now formulated in the following charter.

We will:

  • Talk to you at the outset about:
    • Who will deal with your affairs
    • How we will handle your case
    • The cost of our legal services
    • Other matters which may be relevant where we may be able to help
  •  Reply to your letters and telephone calls promptly.
  • Send you copies of all important correspondence.
  • Provide regular progress reports
  • See you promptly for appointments.
  • Keep secure any funds, deeds, Wills or documents you entrust to us.
  • Send you a cheque as soon as money is due to you.
